Dr. John Marzluff

During production, we filmed an interview with Dr. John Marzluff. He is an author, researcher, and recently retired professor from the University of Washington. Now based in Bozeman, Dr. Marzluff conducts research on the common raven in Yellowstone National Park and the GYE. This involves a multi-year study monitoring movements, nesting sites and breeding pairs, and interspecies interactions between ravens, wolves, and humans. During his time as a tenure track professor, and moving forward as he retires, he will continue studying ravens in Yellowstone as well as co-teach a field-based course for students from the University of Washington within the Park.

Interview shooting is complete, but filming will continue throughout the Spring-Fall as Dr. Marzluff continues his research in Yellowstone National Park.
